In our daily lives, eating is an essential part. We require a sufficient amount of nutrients to survive, as well as to grow and develop. Because Islam is so comprehensive, as mentioned in the prophetic tradition, it addresses issues such as the types of food we should consume, healthy dietary recommendations, and even how we should consume food.
Now that Muslims all over the world seek out Halal food, even non-Muslims are familiar with the term “Halal.”‘ Even though the verse mentions food that is good for the consumer, we tend to overlook this quality. In other words, it has a positive impact on both the physical and mental health of the user. Even if a food is labelled Halal, consuming too much of it can be harmful to one’s health if not done with caution.
